The hottest news in baseball now is not about the Tampa Bay Rays’ fiery pace, not about Barry Bonds jobless, but about the impending Alex Rodriguez divorce case filed by his wife Cynthia Rodriguez who has had enough of her husband secretly flying off into Madonna’s sleazy den for high risk flings and dings. There is nothing new about these developments and certainly nothing surprising about this Alex Rodriguez divorce since it is not the first time pop singer Madonna has set her eyes on the steroid pumped baseball players and stars. Everyone would remember that she tried the same stunt with Jose Canseco before although the latter denied that they ever did the do because he loved his family too much then.

Now with Alex Rodriguez set to divorce his wife Cynthia of almost six years, what will happen to the New York Yankees and will they fire him for this? That definitely will not happen since they have been awful this season and would do even worse if they did not have him in their side. But they also can ill afford this messy divorce situation with their star slugger but Alex Rodriguez has shown before that he is quite an arrogant person so it would probably slide off him. With the money he is making, he knows that there is no shortage of women trying to ride him.

But it does show how lame the baseball star is since he has opted to follow Madonna’s religion in order to get into her good books. Whether it is for more than that, no one knows and certainly the pop star vehemently denies it. But Cynthia Rodriguez does not believe one word from her and has therefore decided to proceed with divorce filings with her husband Alex Rodriguez. It seemed to be a match made in heaven and one that would definitely last but like many baseball celebrity marriages this one is set to crumble. Much like what that Steroid Rocket will probably experience in years to come.

But Cynthia Rodriguez has to share some of the blame for this marriage crumbling and subsequent divorce with husband Alex, since she flew off to France herself to spend time with another man. She could have jetted off with one of her girlfriends but no she decided to spend private time with another man. And a man who is recognized by many women to be one sex symbol so what would that signal to Alex Rodriguez? If I were him, I would not object to the divorce since who knows what Cynthia might have been up to in France?
