UFO Sightings In UK Leaves Ministry Of Defence In A Fix

News, Technology June 25th, 2008

There have been a slew of UFO sightings in the UK recently and the Ministry of Defence have been asked to investigate them due to the nature of the UFO sightings. There might be many people who have recorded some themselves and the MoD would not have bothered with them. However, these recent UFO sightings in the UK have some of which were filmed by personnel related to the Ministry of Defence, such as policemen and military personnel. It would be difficult to ignore questions on these UFO sightings since a portion of them have actually been recorded by people from the army or police.

What was special about these UFO sightings that were made in southern Wales in the United Kingdom was that a few of them were discovered by personnel on board a police helicopter, including army individuals. These specific UFO sightings were filmed on a cellphone of one of the crew, before being handed over to the Ministry of Defence. According to Mark Procter the corporal who made the film, his UFO sightings were of spinning cubes moving in irregular motion across the air in flashing colors. Read the rest of this entry »

Xbox 360 Red Ring Of Death Fix Finally Found

Entertainment, Technology June 24th, 2008

Since I experienced the Xbox 360 Red Ring of Death which basically totaled my console and stopped me from playing any games, I have been searching high and low for a clue or a fix on repairing the Xbox 360 red ring of death. It was a really frustrating search as there did not seem to be ready information or xbox 360 repair guides available. I have been advised on several xbox 360 repairs that ended up without any return and the red ring of death was still shining on my xbox 360 and no games could still be played. The whole console seemed to be done and over. And some of these repair suggestions were also useless and could even cause irreparable damage to your xbox 360.

I was then pointed to a xbox 360 repair guide available online that also claimed to do the same thing of helping to solve and get rid of the xbox 360 red ring of death. I was skeptical at first, as I did not want to damage my half broken xbox 360 any further, and with all the repair guides that claimed to help solve those pesky xbox 360 red lights but did not help me at all, I had to be careful. So I went through this xbox 360 red ring of death repair guide and it slowly surprised me with the helpful step by step guide to take care of the problem. The step by step guide was really helpful as I am no techie but doing it myself definitely would save me more money and time compared to bringing it in for repairs. Read the rest of this entry »

GM Cars Having Discount Sales?

News, Technology June 24th, 2008

GM cars are rumored to be on sale for many models, or at least the whole range of 2008 models. How true this is I am not sure but apparently they are raising the prices of GM cars for 2009 models so that might be a way to get sales before a dip is experienced when the newer models are in town. They are also rumored to be producing more GM cars to get more sales so that might be another strategy to improve their bottomline but I am not entirely sure of this as there are differing reports coming in on the situation with GM cars.

But another interesting bit is the development of GM cars which will have no drivers. Can you imagine not having to put your hands on the wheel and just sitting back and relaxing while the vehicle does all the work? I cannot imagine it but it would be a fantastic option for GM cars and owners who are simply tired of enduring driving through long jams which are always a pain in the neck, behind and back. Those long jams can also be a long term health hazard in terms of getting fidgety and irritated but with future GM cars perhaps we might not have to suffer through that anymore. News, Technology June 23rd, 2008

A Honda scooter is extremely useful for someone wishing to travel conveniently and not having to spend too much money. One cannot help but to picture the guy riding his Honda scooter while going to work, all the way traveling at a good and comfortable speed. You can also look cool on this vehicle, even though some might disagree. Riding a scooter is often viewed as being unglamorous, but riding a Honda scooter is of course different from any other similar vehicle that you might use.

You do not have to pay too much for a Honda scooter, since they come cheap and are quite affordable. Magellan Maestro 4200 Classic GPS Navigation System Review

Technology June 13th, 2008

The Magellan Maestro 4200 Portable GPS has just been released to as much hype as the iPhone earlier in the week, if not more. It appears that the Magellan Maestro 4200 Portable GPS system might be the new standard in excellent GPS systems and it certainly appears to be picking up steam in the amount of media backing the product is receiving. I have been looking to find out more about it to see what the buzz is all about and what I have seen so far seems to justify the attention it is receiving.

The Magellan Maestro 4200 Portable GPS system offers the what is by now standard feature of voice operated guidance, but it is the amazingly large number of pre programmed points of interest that is contributing to its winning (and selling) point. There is a total of more than 1.3 million of them, and certainly would provide drivers with a ready-made solution to avoid getting lost ever again. What makes the Magellan Maestro 4200 Portable GPS system triumph over the current field of similar products is its 4.3″ wide WQVGA color touch screen which looks absolutely fabulous, and creates an extra layer upon which one can easily use and safely navigate on the roads.
